What does it mean to talk about the insertion, orgin, and action of a mucle?

The insertion is where the muscle goes into. The orgin is where the muscle starts. The action of the muscle is what it does.

The insertion is the where the muscle attache and ends. The action is how the muscle moves. The origin is the other attachemnt from which the muscle starts.
