Photoautotrophs are organisms that carry out photosynthesis. Chemoautotrophs are organisms that take in that energy. They contrast each other.

Photoautotrophs and chemoautotrophs contrast eachother in certain ways. Chemoautotrophs take out energy. Photoautotrophs carry out photosynthesis. They are both organisms.

Chemoautotrophs take energy, they don't use much energy but need a lot to function. Photoautotrophs carry out photosynthesis and produce oxygen. They aren't very much alike.

A chemoautotroph takes things in while a photoautotroph takes things out. Chemoautotrophs take in energy. Photoautotrophs take out photosynthesis.
