What are zygote fungi?? Give an example.

They are named for sexual reproductive structures that produce zygotes inside a tough capsule. Common black bread mold is a member of the phylum Zygomycota, which contains zygote fungi. Usually live in the soil and feed on decaying plant and animal matter.

Zygote fungi mostly appears on bread mold. Soil dewelling decomposers. They are characterised by their tough outside.

the zygote is the only diploid stage in a life cycle. An example would be mushroom. Mushrooms are ugly.

Zygote fungi are also known as zygomycota. They mostly grow in soil and grow on dead plants or animals. There are thousands of types of zygote fungi.
