Fungus infections occur when microscopic fungi gain entry through a small trauma in the nail. then grows and spreads in the environment inside the patient's socks and shoes.Symptoms of toenail fungus, which can be caused by several types of fungi, include swelling, yellowing, thickening or crumbling of the nail, streaks or spots down the side of the nail. Sometimes even complete loss of the nail can occur.

It is a living organism that thrives in dark, damp environments such as under and around nails. Toenails are more likely to get the fungus than fingernnails because your feel are in warm, and moist invironments most of the time. There are medications and perscriptions that can help to cure toenail fungus.

It's a living organism that lives in dark and damp places. You can get it if your toes are out in the open or wear thick socks because it makes your feet become damp. Also if you wear toenail polish it can cause fungal growth. There are medicines that you can get from a doctor that is perscribed to you.
