ITs bad for you
What happen to the impulse which goes through your nerves when you intake drugs and alcohol?

You should take drugs. You could die from it. When someone ask you to take drugs you should say no thank you and walk away. It is a bad thing to do to take drugs.
When you do drugs or drink, your impulses are either sped up or slowed down. It often depends on the drug which would make your reaction. Alcohol slows your reaction time.
Taking stimulants will speed up your impulses while depressants slow your impulses down. Either one is not good for your body. Slowing them down can reduce reaction time which is very bad in activities like driving.
Like pete said, taking stimulants will speed up impulses. Taking depressents will slow them down. This is why drinking and driving is bad. (limits reaction time)
