The Nervous system is broken up into different sections. What are at least two of the different section of the nervous system and what do they do?

The central nervous system represents the largest part of the nervous system, including the brain and the spinal cord.
The Periphial nervous system consists of all the other nervous structures. They are commonly called nerves.

The central nersous system is the core of the nervous system. It includes the brain and spinal cord. The The periphial nervous system is all the smaller nerves. These are the nerves that actually perceive the senses and then send those signals to the central nervous system for interpretation.

There is the Autonomic nervous system.A collection of neurons that carry messages from the central nervous system to the heart. There is also the central nervous system. This contains the brain and the spinal chord.
