Viruses vs Bacterium
What is the difference between a viruses and a bacterium?

A virus isn't technically living. it is missing some characteristics of living things. Bacteria are prokaryotes that have a strong exterior cell wall and a unique genetic system. They have the same kind of cell membrane lipid as Eukaryotes do.
Bateria is a prokaryoes. Prokaryotes are broken up into two parts; archaea and bacteria. A virus is not a living thing, it doesn't have all the characteristics of living things.
Virus is missing characteristics that you need to have to be considered living. Bacteria on the other hand is considered living. Bacteria also are prokaryotes, and have the same kind of cell membrane as eukaryotes.

They differ in size. Viruses are much smaller than bacterium. Bacteria contains DNA and Viruses have limited genetic blue print.
