What is an emerging disease? Give an example.

An emerging disease is one that has appeared in a population for the first time. It also may have existed previously but is rapidly increasing in incidence or geographic range. An example would be bird flu.

An emerging disease is a disease that nobody has ever found before. SOme other examples of an emerging disease is one that has become stronger again or it is found in a different area. A lot of different types of flu are considered emerging diseases.

Emerging diseases are disease that appear in the population for the first time. There is many unknown plants and animals, these species have unknown diseases. They are called emerging diseases.

An emerging disease is a disease that becoming more common. More people are contracting the disease. SARS is an emerging disease.
