Changing the pH of the soil helps make different chemicals in the soil more accessible. PH will affect the activity of all the enzymes in the plant. Some will stop functioning before others as the pH is changed. pH affects the availability of plant nutrients when a plant is growing in soil.

The pH level measures the acidity in a plant. It can be only measured from 1-7. It affects the availability of nutrients.
