Laughing

The BBC has published a report that tells us that humans are not the only animals to have emotion, like happiness. Primates have been seen laughing. Does this help to prove an evolutionary like between humans and primates?

Horses and dolphins can cry actually cry...Maybe it really shows evolution of all specise together and not just primate to human.

I think it shows that there may be an evolutionary link. However we do not know for sure if they were laughing. We cannot be sure of what the primate means by its "laugh."

I think that it somewhat proves that evolution between primates and humans occured. There is definatly stronger evidence to prove this. I just have one question; how do they know they are laughing and not just making noise.

I think that humans have evolved from primates which would also lead me to belive that primates share some of the same emotions that we do. They have proven that primates can do many of the same things that we can do so why not being able to show emotions. However, what they are laughing at may be different than what we consider reasonable to laugh at.

I believe that humans did evolve from other animals. I think that because humans cry and so do other animals. Humans act a lot like other animals and animals act a lot like animals.
